Numark Stealth Control

Numark used the recent Winter NAMM trade exhibition in California to launch their latest product – the STEALTH CONTROL – another option for digital DJs who want a familiar ‘hands-on’ DJ interface for their music mixing software.
If the new software controller looks familiar, that’s because it is essentially the same as Numark’s recently introduced OMNI CONTROL with two distinct differences. Firstly, from a functional point of the view the STEALTH doesn’t include an on-board sound card, meaning that it is purely a control interface. Secondly, due to the removal of the internal sound card the STEALTH comes in at a lower price point. And finally, from a purely aesthetic point of view, the STEALTH has a black metallic finish that instantly makes it easy to distinguish from the silver finish of the OMNI.
Powered via USB, the STEALTH CONTROL offers easy ‘plug and play’ setup and is compatible with both MAC and PC. The controller offers two sets of deck controls, including large jog wheels, together with mixer and track selection controls. For new digital DJs who haven’t yet settled upon a software application, the unit is supplied with both Native Instruments Traktor 3 LE and MixMeister Fusion Live.
