New iSolution Controller
There are a whole host of cheap and cheerful DMX lighting controllers currently on the market and equally there are plenty of all-singing and all-dancing options that cost more than most mobile rigs put together. It seems that what has been lacking from the market is a mid-range unit that offers more a more powerful control option with a price tag that doesn’t exclude the mobile DJs. iSolution have addressed this gap in the market with the release of their new iL2420 Flag Ship control centre.
The iSolution iL2420 enables control of up to 20 fixtures, each of which can be assigned as many as 24 DMX control channels. An inbuilt fixture library, preset movements, cues, overrides and centre positions make this controller the ideal choice for both creativity, speed of programming and ease of use. The iL2420 offers four large rotary wheels for pin point accuracy of movement, 24 Faders, 20 multifunction buttons and a large LCD display screen along with the benefit of CF Card technology.
While intended for the iSolution range of lighting fixtures, the iL2420 can also be used to control any equipment compatible with the DMX512 protocol. The unit’s internal Fixture Library allows up to 50 profiles to be stored, with iSolution lighting fixtures available from the in-built memory while other fixtures can be set manually. 20 programmable chases/shows (maximum 200 scenes per chase) can be stored together with 1200 programmable scenes (60 banks x 20 scenes) and 400 programmable colour and gobo combinations (20 presets, each preset has 10 colours and 10 gobos).
