New from Numark

Hot on the heals of the popular iDJ2 and groundbreaking DDS80, Numark announced their latest DJ hardware innovation at the recent summer NAMM exhibition over in the States. The HDMIX combines the integrated digital playback and mixer combination of the iDJ2 with the DDS80’s internal hard drive and CD/DVD drive to create a one-stop DJ solution.
Using the HDMIX DJs can mix together tracks stored on the internal 80GB hard-drive (expandable to 1TB), with audio CDs and music stored on external USB devices such as iPods, memory sticks and hard-drives. The mixer element of the device offers three input channels, each with a three band EQ, gain control and independent level meter. In addition there is a separate mic channel and the ability to connect up to three line level external inputs.
The internal CD/DVD drive is capable of playing audio CDs as well as data CDs/DVDs written with compatible music files. The device supports mp3, Wav and unprotected AAC files and features a colour screen for file selection and play-listing. Other key features include XLR master outputs, -100% to +25% pitch alteration, key lock option and scratch emulation.
