Reloop Launch Versatile RMX-60 Digital Mixer
Following the success of its current RMX-80 Digital mixer, Reloop have unveiled the new RMX-60 Digital – a classic 4+1 channel mixer updated to suit modern performance standards. Offering versatility and a future-proof firmware system, it’s great for mobile DJs that need a durable mixer with a club DJ-feel or simply want to get more creative with their work.
The RMX-60 Digital gives users various connection options, with 11 inputs and six outputs enabling DJs to use CD/media players, DVS systems, DJ controllers or even turntables. Reloop has also fitted the mixer with an LCD display that supplies mobile DJs with clear visual feedback of beat and time parameter positions (for accurate cueing) and a convenient beat-matching tool.
Set in an FX layout inspired by the RMX-80 and enabled by the mixer’s fully-digital architecture, a series of eight built-in performance effects are offered, giving DJs access to delay, echo, reverb, gate, pitch shift, phase, bit crusher, and noise. Meanwhile, an adjustable EQ section lets users switch between ‘classic’ and ‘kill’ modes, as suited to their individual mixing style, and under the three-band EQ for each channel there are dedicated bi-polar filters that allow for imaginative mixing with high and low-band filter curves.
In addition, the RMX-60 Digital features a mic channel with 2-band EQ, two headphone outputs (standard 1/4” jack and mini-jack), and separate XLR and RCA outputs. A robust piece of gear, the RMX-60 is ideal for creative DJs that need a durable, versatile mixer to utilise as part of a mobile setup.
The Reloop RMX-60 Digital will be available from March 2015 with a suggested retail price of £400.
