S Club 7 ‘Bring It All Back’ with 2015 UK Tour
Noughties pop sensations S Club 7 have announced a full UK tour for 2015, following the group’s first performance in over a decade on the BBC Children In Need telethon last Friday.
The band – whose biggest hit ‘Reach’ was released in 2000 and remained a must-play track for mobile DJs throughout the subsequent decade – reunited to sing a medley of their biggest hits for what was described as a ‘one-off’ performance. However, the public weren’t fooled, with the reunion sparking rumours of a tour announcement.
The band held a press conference in London yesterday, where they confirmed 11 UK dates. The Bring It All Back tour is set to start at the Genting Arena in Birmingham on Thursday the 7th of May and will end in Sheffield at the Motorpoint Arena on Thursday the 21st of May, visiting Manchester, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, Nottingham, London, Leeds and Glasgow along the way.
Formed in 1998 by Simon Fuller (following his work with the Spice Girls), S Club 7 includes Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh. The seven-piece starred in the children’s sitcom, Miami 7, and released their debut album in 1999 before going to on to enjoy four UK number one singles, a UK number one album and a string of top ten hits across the world, before splitting in 2003.
Tickets for the Bring It All Back tour go on sale at 9am on Thursday the 20th of November, while DJs should expect to be flooded with requests for ‘Reach’…
