Pioneer Professional Audio has announced the addition of four models to its XY Series of compact, high SPL speakers, giving those in need of portable solutions access to a ‘warm, enveloping sound’. At the same time it has also been announced that the whole range of XY speakers will now be available with a choice of colour.

The four new speakers are: the XY-101 and XY-152 – 10-inch and 15-inch two-way full range PA speakers; the XY-115S – a 15-inch bass reflect subwoofer designed with smaller spaces in mind; and the XY-218S – a bass reflex subwoofer with twin 18-inch drivers, designed for use in large rooms and for temporary outdoor installations. All systems in the XY Series are supported by Powersoft K-Series DSP amplifiers and offer multiple instalment options for easy setup.

Being designed for bars, restaurants and mid-size venues, the XY Series gives users a range of rigging options; with its compact speakers offering a number of portable but powerful solutions.

In addition to the release of its new models, Pioneer is now offering the whole range of XY speakers in ‘classic black’ or ‘premium white’ colours; giving DJs the option to tailor their speakers to the events they work. The classic black units are available now. The premium white versions will be available soon at the same cost.
