Prolight Launches Overhead Bar Kit for Equinox DJ Booth
Prolight Concepts has announced the arrival of a brand new Overhead Kit for its extremely popular Equinox DJ Booth. Featuring four clamps, the upright poles simply attach onto the rear uprights of the booth, creating a useful addition to the already elegant system. The new kit features a heavy duty lighting bar with nine lower and nine upper fixing points, which means that mobile DJs can create quite an impressive light show without the need for any other stands.
A neat solution for a clean looking DJ rig or for situations when space is tight, the combination of an Equinox DJ Booth and the new Overhead Bar Kit provides a complete mobile DJ system with places for all of a DJ’s sound and lighting equipment. The dual-height goalpost trussing allows users to mount DJ lighting above the booth via a simple bolt-on system, while the twin bar setup also makes for a study rig with no sagging.

Made from robust steel, with a smart black finish to match the Equinox Booth, the whole system is compact and lightweight at only 13kg. With a height of 2.1m (extendable to 2.65m) and a width of 2.55m the bar provides plenty of space to hang a variety of DJ lighting using the provided wingnut fixing bolts. With a maximum load weight of 45kg, evenly distributed, (35kg with extension) the Overhead Kit is capable of supporting a significant mobile lightshow. What’s more, for easy transportation, a carry bag as also included as standard.
The original Equinox DJ Booth is supplied with a sturdy shelf, cross bars, carry bag and white lycra cover so the booth can be lit from behind with a vast array of lighting effects. Existing additions include a black lycra cover or black starcloth. It is also possible to create a white starcloth effect by covering the optional black starcloth with the standard white lycra.
With a retail price of £99 (inc. VAT), the new Overhead Kit is sure to be of interest to existing Equinox DJ Booth owners.
