Mobile DJ equipment manufacturer Kam have recently extended their range of lighting equipment with the addition of a new LED effect unit. The twin lens LED Javelin projects sharp red, green and blue coloured beams, which create a dual moonflower effect that has a wide beam angle allowing it to cover a large area.

The Javelin uses 94 extremely bright LEDs (47 for each lens) to provide its light source, meaning that there is no need for a fan, motor or in fact any moving parts. Because LEDs are so efficient, the unit only requires 23W of power and because LEDs have an extremely long life, carrying spare lamps is a thing of the past.
