Pitbull Joins Up With Playboy
Rapping badboy Pitbull has formed a strategic partnership with Playboy Enterprises to create a new genre of ‘content, experience and product-related initiatives’.
Pitbull’s first venture in the collaboration will be his upcoming video accompaniment to new single ‘Wild Wild Love’, which was shot at the Playboy Mansion earlier this month. "In order to become an iconic brand you have to partner up with one. What's more iconic than Playboy?" said Pitbull. "It's an honour to partner with Playboy Enterprises."
CEO Scott Flanders added, “We're bringing new energy and enthusiasm to the iconic Playboy brand in our 60th year. Throughout our history we've collaborated with artists and cultural tastemakers who both embody the Playboy lifestyle and interpret it in their own images. Today we're taking a big step in re-interpreting our enduring brand for a new generation by welcoming Pitbull into the fold. His magnetic energy, charisma and style combined with his clear talent as an entrepreneur exemplify the aspirational lifestyle that defines our brand. We're looking forward to doing some great things together."
The ‘Timber’ rapper, real name Armando Christian Perez, is hoping that the joint venture will see him turn ‘Pitbull’ into an iconic brand, and no doubt ensure that his future is filled with scantily clad ladies! As well as the Playboy partnership, Pitbull has also signed deals with Bud Light, Voli Vodka and Dr Pepper thanks to his nine top 10 singles. Previous releases include ‘Give Me Everything’, ‘Im A Freak’, ‘Rain Over Me’ and ‘International Love’.
