Pro Mobile readers will be some of the first to get the lowdown on the new dMIX-300, which its makers Cortex claim to be the first true all-in-one mixing solution for iPod®.

The dMIX-300 utilizes Cortex’s patent-pending USB compatible technology by integrating a 2-channel audio mixer with a built-in iPod® Dock, giving DJs the power to cue, play, pitch, manipulate, mix and scratch digital music files (MP3 or WAV) directly from their iPod® or any other external USB storage device.



Weighing in at 12 lbs, the dMIX-300 contains features such as two Tri Mode Jog Wheels for search, pitch bend, and scratch features, two 80 character dot matrix playback info displays, 3-band EQ per channel with Gain Control and a smooth cross-fader with selectable curve, all in a compact, easy to carry unit suitable for all iPod® models (dock adapters are included with the unit) that will deliver great functionality and control of digital music files.
