ARTICLE
On behalf of the entire team here at Pro Mobile, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year to our advertisers, suppliers, industry partners, and - most importantly - our dedicated readers.

The start of a new year is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a moment to take a breath, reflect on a busy winter season, and begin plotting the course for the 12 months to follow. Whether 2025 was a record-breaking year for you or one that could have been better, 2026 represents a clean slate and a fresh opportunity to renew your aspirations. While the new year brings many things to look forward to, there is one event that is already casting a very large, very exciting shadow on our calendar.
In just over two months’ time, we will be descending upon Solihull for the return of the Pro Mobile Conference (March 22–23, 2026).

I don’t say this lightly: this year’s conference is set to be bigger and better than ever. After a period of transition for Pro Mobile magazine and conference, we have redesigned our event from the ground up to ensure it delivers exactly what the modern mobile DJ needs. We’re not just looking to hold a meeting of peers; we are aiming to positively effect the future of your business with two days of packed learning and networking opportunities.

One of the most frequent pieces of feedback we receive is a need for high-level education. To meet that demand, we have curated a schedule of high-impact seminars led by some of the most successful and forward-thinking minds in the business. These aren't just "talks” - they are deep dives into the mechanics of performance, the psychology of sales and marketing, and the future of event technology.

Furthermore, our exhibition floor will host more manufacturers than ever before. This is your chance to get hands-on with the latest lighting rigs, sound systems, and software solutions, speaking directly to the people who build the tools we use every weekend.

But perhaps the greatest value of the Pro Mobile Conference lies in the spaces between the sessions. We have built in more opportunities for networking than any previous year.
There is a unique magic that happens when you share a coffee - or something stronger - with a fellow DJ from the other side of the country. Whether you are a veteran looking to stay sharp or a newcomer looking for a mentor, the community spirit at the conference is unrivalled.

Of course, the weekend wouldn't be complete without the Pro Mobile Awards. These awards remain a cornerstone of our industry, recognising the individuals and brands that go above and beyond to drive our sector forward. Celebrating together reminds us all that we aren't just "the guy who presses play" at a party - we are professional entertainers and business owners who play a vital role in the UK’s events industry.

Whether your goal for 2026 is to marginally increase your booking fee, turn a part-time passion into a full-time career, or scale your multi-op business to new territories, the path starts with the decisions you make this month.

At Pro Mobile, our mission has always been to provide the tools, information, and community to help you succeed. All you need do is pick up the baton.

I look forward to seeing many of you in Solihull this March. Let’s make 2026 our best year yet.
