Of course, you are likely to have already booked those days to attend Photo Booth Expo (PBX) London. There’s no need to worry about a clash! I’m very pleased to tell you that PBX, held at Novotel London West on those dates, will be joined by weDJ in the same location. A show for all DJs with a long list of exhibitors in its first year is not to be missed. So, what’s it all about?
Over the years my trips to Vegas to attend DJ and PhotoBooth shows have shown there are a lot of DJs who offer photo booths, and also photo booth companies who offer DJ-related services. The two go extremely well together. Most likely because they’re naturally discussed during customer conversations, and are both about plans for evening entertainment, giving easy cross-selling opportunities. There is no doubt that expos for either industry are enhanced by having the other in the same location. At last years first ever PBX in London we saw huge interest from DJs and we also had a lot of photo booth companies looking for products most typically associated with DJs, particularly lighting. So, we knew we wanted to expand the DJ offering for PBX 2024.
That said, running PBX, as well as Pro Mobile magazine, is already a full-time job for both Steve and I. Plus along with running our own events businesses we are pretty much at maximum capacity, it was clear to us that we needed a third party to take responsibility for this expansion. In August, WestendDJ stepped in and put together a brand-new concept; weDJ. The show has commitment from a fantastic line-up of big name exhibitors and will be the only expo for DJs this year anywhere in the UK.
weDj will also be FREE to attend. And by having a ticket, you will also be entitled to purchase a trade-floor ticket to PBX for just £15 (saving £34) using code EDITORSLETTER. You will also be able to purchase a ticket for our official PBX and weDJ after-party on the Sunday night at just £25 which will include networking, a quiz hosted by Shaun Wallace from ITV’s ‘The Chase’ and a line-up of DJs to finish the night off. We’ll even include a drink and nibbles.
