The Digital Economy Bill, which includes some changes to the UK’s anti-piracy laws has now been approved by Parliament. Some of the measures in the Act will come into effect immediately with others coming into effect in two months’ time.

The latest professional DJ headphones from Numark, called PHX USB, feature dual cables for both analog and USB connections. The standard analog cable enables DJs to use the PHX USB headphones with mixers, CD players and other analog gear. Popular mobile DJ gear brand Numark are introducing a new flagship to their range of DJ mixers. The X7 is designed as a companion to the company’s V7 motorised turntable software controller. DJs can link two V7s and with an X7 using the system’s elegant and powerful communication protocol, which enables system connection to the DJ’s computer with a single USB cable. The cable streams ultra high-resolution audio and control information between the X7, V7s and the DJ software.
