SEDA (the South East Discotheque Association) are hosting their next SEDABuzz education day this Monday the 24th of June at The Moat Pub in Wrotham, Sevenoakes, Kent. Guest speakers for the event include Pro Mobile regular Mark Walsh and previously profiled DJ Alan Marshall.
The full day event will combine a packed programme of educational seminar sessions with networking opportunities all aimed at helping mobile DJs to learn and develop. Mark Walsh will present his ‘Zero to Hero’ seminar, sharing advice on how to take an average party and turn it into a night to remember! Alan Marshall’s session ‘What is Your Why’ will be a thought provoking journey into the mind of a DJ. Technical issues will also be covered during the day, with Peter Hope - another guest speaker – presenting a session on how to get the best from your mood / up-lighting. SEDA’s own Glenn Nash will also give a presentation titled ‘NABWS’ on the pros and cons of Karaoke and there will be an opportunity for everyone present to share their ideas and voice their opinions in the ‘Buzzback’ session.
Paul Forsyth, SEDA’s Vice Chairman and the host for SEDABuzz, commented “We are pleased to welcome outside speakers Alan Marshall, Mark Walsh and Pete Hope as well as our very own Glenn Nash and myself as host. I am especially looking forward to your input for Buzzback. This is looking like the most exciting SEDABuzz to date and I am thrilled to be part of it. A limited number of seats are available, please register with Caroline Robinson if you wish to attend, by emailing
Caroline.Robinson@seda.org.uk.”
The cost to attend the day for SEDA members is just £10.00, while non-members are also welcome but will be charged £15.00. The organisers are encouraging everyone attending the event to try to arrive as close to 9:30am as possible so that they can take advantage of plenty of networking opportunities with the other SEDABuzz attendees.
