ADJ Open House Draws 300
A crowd of approximately 300 DJs, lighting professionals, club owners and dealers visited the ADJ Group’s world headquarters in Los Angeles on the 18th of July. They were there to tour the company’s new showroom and see some of the latest products from American DJ, American Audio and Global Truss America.
The new 4,000 square foot state-of-the-art showroom, which is shared with sister company Elation Professional, features a replica of a nightclub, a true-to-life production stage and other realistic venues. American DJ lights are showcased in these settings, often as part of choreographed lightshows.
“We’re excited about our new showroom, because it gives our friends and customers an opportunity to see how our products work together in a real world setting,” said Alfred Gonzales, National Sales Manager of American DJ. “Looking ahead, we’re also excited about using the showroom as an educational resource where our dealers can send their staff for training.”
Speaking of the open house, Gonzales noted, “We have some amazing new lights like our Mega Go battery series and the Inno Beam, with its brilliant output and rich colours. When you see these lights in a real setting and you see how they can be even more dramatic when they’re used with the creative trussing setups from Global Truss America, it opens your eyes to what DJs, working musicians and small clubs can do to transform their performances.”
On the audio side, visitors to the open house were impressed by the concert quality sound of the German-designed American Audio Sen Series speakers and the versatility of the company’s VMS4.1 workstations.
“We were thrilled by the turnout we got at the open house and by the reception our Sen Series and VMS4.1 received,” said Tom Freret, National Sales Manager of American Audio. “It was a great experience for all of the ADJ Group companies. We had a great time showcasing our products and catching up with a lot of our favourite customers and friends.”
