New Additions To The NADJ Team
The National Association of Disc Jockeys have announced that two long-standing and pro-active members have taken up positions on the NADJ National Committee.
The two DJs, Mark Weller and Paul Thompson, are well known in the Wales area because they are both a part of the team who have successfully looked after that branch for many years.
Mark plays a part in organising the Wales Branch and has, for a long time, informally enjoyed the title of 'Grandfather of the NADJ'. He's always a great resource for knowledge, experience, information and is always someone that people turn to for help. Mark has taken up the position of ‘National Co-ordinator’ and he will deal with many aspects of an organisation that's currently growing by more than 25% per year.
Paul is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Wales Branch and will be taking on the role of ‘National Benefits Officer’. Paul is the ideal candidate to take up that position because he works closely with many companies to get discounts, special offers and benefits in his job. He's hoping to get similar deals for NADJ members and expand the already comprehensive list of benefits offered by the NADJ.
The two members were appointed at a National Committee meeting on Monday 6th February 2012, as Paul Arnett, NADJ Chairman explains: "Mark has played an important part in the founding of the NADJ and the development of the Association over the years and it's great to have him back on-board. Paul has many contacts with businesses and I'm confident that he will be able to enhance the benefits package we offer our members. The NADJ is always evolving and improving the way we operate and the two new Committee members are a great step in the right direction for the Association."
