Introducing the Kam Digi Mini
Kam have recently unveiled their first foray into the software controller market: the Digi Mini. A stylish and compact unit, the Digi Mini can be used to mix and scratch both audio and video files utilising a host of transitions and effects. The controller features built-in audio for headphone monitoring and comes bundled with Virtual DJ LE software.

Audio effects include Brake, Echo, Back Spin and Flanger, while three programmable Hot Cue buttons are provided for each channel. There are also 12 separate banks of 6 re-recordable samples as well as a seamless loop function with loop trim feature.

When it comes to visual mixing, video can either be mixed together with its audio or separately. Visual transitions and effects include Revolving Scenes, Scratch, Zoom, Rotating Cube, Strobe and Negative. For Karaoke jocks the Digi Mini can also be used to mix AVI, MP3+G, WMA+G and OGG+G files.

As well as Virtual DJ, the Digi Mini is compatible with Traktor™ and all other major MIDI controlled DJ software. The ultra portable unit is supplied with a free Gig Bag, is compatible with PC or MAC, and will have a price tag of around £200 when it hits the shops very soon.
