Full Line-Up Revealed For Pro Mobile Conference 2015
A full line-up of confirmed speakers for the 2015 Pro Mobile Conference has been announced, giving mobile DJs with a passion for self-improvement and industry change plenty of reasons to feel excited ahead of the event – which will run from Sunday the 8th to Monday the 9th of March at the Crowne Plaza Heythrop Park, Oxford.

Speakers with expertise in a range of DJ-relevant areas – including business, media, communication and marketing – will join Lead Keynote Speaker Peter Merry, as part of a well-curated programme packed with content that’s both educational and engaging.

Informed by his extensive knowledge and industry experience, Nigel Risner – a respected author, television presenter and award-winning motivational speaker – will deliver a talk that encourages delegates to challenge themselves and strive to meet goals they thought impossible. Whether it’s commanding a whole room of people, dealing one-to-one with a venue manager or selling yourself to potential clients, interacting with others is central to working as a mobile DJ. In Nigel’s presentation, based on his book – It’s a Zoo Around Here – he will show you a simple, yet proven, way to positively influence others.

Hailing from a similar background, award-winning TV and radio broadcaster Jeremy Nicholas promises an informative talk infused with off-the-wall humour and dotted with amusing anecdotes, as he shares the important lessons he’s learned after a lifetime working in media. Trying to be funny on purpose is no laughing matter! But in Jeremy’s entertaining keynote seminar you’ll pick up loads of great bite-size takeaways that will help you inject humour into your gigs.

Frequently called upon to speak at national and international conferences, Elisabeth Scott Daley is a highly respected name in the wedding industry. Having worked as a DJ and MC at countless receptions across the US, she will have lots in common with delegates, enabling her to deliver a talk that really hits home.

Also on the bill is marketing expert and author Geoff Ramm, a multi-award winning keynote speaker with experience talking to audiences across five continents. Giving DJs plenty of food for thought, Geoff will use memorable real-life marketing situations and customer service observations to show delegates how they can stand out from competitors and gain more customers.

Completing the line-up is Pro Mobile Conference regular David Reed, whose prolific career as a DJ, business consultant and successful sound and lighting retailer gives him a unique insight into the industry as a whole. David’s talks mostly focus on teaching DJs how to value and market themselves properly, how to run their DJ business more effectively and how to make more money.

In addition to the Conference’s unrivalled educational programme, the event will also feature Break Out rooms hosted by leading mobile DJ equipment brands and valuable networking opportunities including a Sunday evening Gala Dinner. The full itinerary, as well as information on the various packages available, can be found on the Pro Mobile Conference website. A £25 discount on full delegate places will be available up until the end of January.

DJs can also read a myth-busting article about the annual Conference – ‘What to Expect from the Pro Mobile Conference 2015’ – in the Jan/Feb issue of Pro Mobile (available now).
