New Compact & Affordable Full Colour Laserworld Systems
Laserworld has developed a new product line, the Diode Series, to fill the gap between its entry-level and more professional laser light systems. The very compact units, built using Sealed Housing Technology, are equipped with a diode-only solution, which means great beam specifications and smooth colour fading behaviour.
The new Diode Series is fully graphics capable and has a professional ILDA interface for computer control. Besides that, stand-alone mode, sound-to-light operation and DMX control is possible. Two versions of the full colour white-light lasers are offered: the Laserworld DS-800RGB and the Laserworld DS-1600RGB. The DS-800RGB model offers a typical power output of 800mW RGB; this is comprised of a bright red diode source of >120mW/638nm, a green diode source with new diode technology of >90mW/520nm and a royal blue source rated at >500mW/445nm. The more powerful DS-1600RGB boasts a typical total output power of 1,600mW RGB. This is created by a bright red diode source with enormous power of >450mW/638nm, a green source – again utilising new diode technology – rated at >120mW/520nm and the royal blue diode blasting out over 1W/445nm of laser light power. Both models have great beam specifications of ca. 3mm / 1.3mrad full angle and come with fast scanners at 40kpps.
With a retail price of £828.32+VAT, the DS-800RGB model brings powerful, professional colour laser technology within the reaches of larger mobile DJ roadshows. At £1,134.00+VAT the DS-1600RGB provides a realistic option for those DJs who want real wow-factor for large venue shows.
Both units feature more than 50 pre-set effects, including layers, tunnels and waves. The power supplies are also included in the housings and consume only about 60W. Mobile DJs will find these new units of interest as they are perfectly suited to the venues covered by larger mobile shows, but can also be used in smaller spaces. The Laserworld Diode Series units come with switchable Beam Block Safety and have a service flap for easy convergence adjustments.
