Destiny’s Child singer and wife of Jay-Z, Beyoncé Knowles has teamed up with The Prince’s Trust to help change the lives of disadvantaged young people.
Beyoncé’s global campaign #BeyGood, which encourages people to be kind and charitable, is set to assist the UK charity by raising vital funds during her upcoming UK dates on the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
Beyoncé said: “As a young child I was blessed to have the support of my family who encouraged me to reach for my goals. So many young people don't have this. I am honored to partner the #BeyGood campaign with The Prince's Trust to help young people beat the odds and create better lives for themselves.”
Fans who want to join in with the fundraising can make a £3 text or online donation which will help disadvantaged young people back into work. If fans who are lucky enough to have a concert ticket for the UK shows make a donation or wear a #BeyGood t-shirt, they will be given an official #BeyGood sticker at The Prince’s Trust donation site and given the chance to be randomly selected for a seat upgrade near the front of the stage.
A limited amount of #BeyGood t-shirts will be available to buy at The Prince’s Trust Tomorrow’s store in Liverpool Street, fans can also bring used items of clothing to a donation site at each venue in return for a #BeyGood sticker.
