Del Amitri Set To Return
Scottish band Del Amitri are going on tour for the first time in ten years. The ‘Kiss This Thing Goodbye’ group will be performing every hit from each era of their 30 year career.

The ‘A To Z of Us’ tour will see Justin Currie, Iain Harvie, Andy Alston, Kris Dollimore and Ashley Soan travel back through time to their first single ‘Sense Sickness’. “The A to Z of Us will take a retrospective sweep of our entire output, from indie art-pop through folk-tinged balladry to hairy Brit-rock chuggery”, says front man Justin Currie.

Formed in Glasgow in 1983, Del Amitri have notched up four top ten albums and 14 top 40 singles including ‘Always The Last To Know’, ‘Driving With The Brakes On’ and ‘Roll With Me’. ‘Nothing Ever Happens’ was their highest chart success, reaching number 11 in the UK and still popular today. Their last album was 2002’s ‘Can You Do Me No Good?’ and the group have been on hiatus ever since, with guitarist Harvie adding “Whenever anyone asked if Del Amitri would ever re-form, our standard response was ‘we never broke up – the phone just stopped ringing'!”.
