Led Zepplin Most Influential Band
Planet Rock radio station conducted a survey amongst its listeners to find the most influential rock band of all time.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Led Zepplin made it to the top spot with over a fifth of the votes cast, followed by Queen in second place and Black Sabbath in third. The top five places are completed by Pink Floyd and Deep Purple, while The Who, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie have also been voted into the top ten.

After their 2007 reunion show, Led Zepplin have hinted at possibly playing live together again in 2014 minus Robert Plant, but guitarist Jimmy Page Jones has quickly spoken against this. “After the 2007 O2 Arena tribute gig Jason, myself and John Paul Jones felt it was the right thing to do to go in and start playing new material and see how we were getting on," he said. "There was talk about bringing in some other singers, but that would have changed the character of what we were doing, and done it rather suddenly. There was a lot of…I won't say pressure but a lot of hinting about 'this singer and that singer.' And for me, it was more about, 'Let's see what we can really do.' But I don't think we really got a chance to do that."
