Issue 314 Available On CD Or Download Now
Issue 314 is the latest in the essential Issue series from Mastermix. Jam packed full of classic and current hits, the two disc set contains a collection of mixes, remixes and mash-ups, created especially for hard-working DJs. 314 includes the smashes ‘More Than This’ from One Direction, ‘Wide Awake’ from Katy Perry, ‘Turn Up The Music’ by Chris Brown as well as a fantastic Tom Jones Pop collection!

We’re greeted by the ‘Chart Breakers’ mix which contains some of the biggest hits around right now. Kicking off is ‘More Than This’ from teen heartthrobs One Direction, before going into ‘Wide Awake’ by Katy Perry and ‘No Church In The Wild’ by Jay Z & Kanye West feat. Frank Ocean. The mix then winds down with two lovely London lads, Rizzle Kicks with ‘Dreamers’ and last but certainly not least is ‘Whistle’ from ‘man of the moment’ Flo Rida.

Switching things up a little, the ‘Drivetime Party’ mix is next with some belting anthems! This 6 track number includes ‘Go Your Own Way’ from Fleetwood Mac, ‘Rockin’ In The Free World’ by Neil Young and of course, the song that has been covered but never bettered, ‘I Drove All Night’ by Roy Orbison. Mastermix always seem to create their issues with every type of DJ in mind, and the next two mixes have a little something for everyone! ‘Urban Pop Anthems’ and ‘New Romantics’ contain some of the best toe-tapping tracks, including ‘Wild Ones’ by Flo Rida feat. Sia, ‘Where Have You Been’ by Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris, ‘’Poison Arrow’ from ABC and ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ from Duran Duran. Phew! We’re all partied out!

A nice follow on from Issue 313’s ‘Essential Tom Jones pt.1: The Love Songs’ mix is Issue 314’s ‘Essential Tom Jones pt.2: The Pop Songs’ collection. Some of his most infamous hits are added together to create this fantastic mix, ‘What’s New Pussycat’, ‘Delilah’, It’s Not Unusual’ and of course, every granny’s favourite, ‘Sex Bomb’! This takes us up to the end of CD1 which finishes off with a brill ‘Triple Tracker’ from Usher, featuring his hits ‘OMG, ‘Without You’ and ‘Scream’.

CD2 has definitely got it going on! ‘Just Massive Number Ones: 2012’ makes sure the party is in full swing with ‘Turn Up the Music’ from Chris Brown, ‘Titanium’ from David Guetta feat. Sia, ‘Part Of Me’ by Katy Perry, ‘Domino’ by Jessie J and exclusive remixes of Cover Drive’s ‘Twilight’ and Rita Ora’s ‘R.I.P’. This leads us into ‘Commercial Dance’, a specially selected bunch of remixed tracks that are guaranteed to get the dance floor moving!

‘The Boybands Are Back In Town’ now and what a blast from the past! ‘Teenage Kicks’ from Busted before ‘She Loves You’, ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ from McFly! MxPx also get a look in with their version of ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’. After all those fast movers it’s now nice to wind down a little with ‘Urban Summer Shakedown’, which contains some classic smooth tracks. Warming up we have ‘Scandalous’ from Mis-Teeq, before heading into ‘Shackles (praise You)’ by Mary Mary and ‘Return Of The Mack’ from Mark Morrison amongst many others!

We leave Issue 314 on a high with ‘Mashed Salsa!’ a mix-up of fab tracks that are sure to put smiles on faces and feet on the floor! Tracks include ‘I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) by Pitbull, ‘Bamboogie’ by Bamboo and ‘Love Generation’ by Bob Sinclair feat. Gary ‘Nesta’ Pine. Rounding off another great Issue is ‘DJ Beats: Moves Like Jagger’, the number one from Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera.

All these brilliant mixes, mash-ups and remixes can be yours on CD or digital download for only £18.38 from Mastermix.
