Prolyte Group's LiteConsole Rocks Ibiza
Ibiza Rocks is a summer-long festival of live music that has run annually since 2005. And this year Prolyte Group was commissioned to supply a branded version of its performance platform, LiteConsole, to create a striking visual impact as part of selected live shows and DJ sets.

The new Ibiza Rocks Bar, where the LiteConsole will be based, may only have re-opened last summer, but the site on which the bar is based is steeped in moments of genre-defying history. As the original home of the Ibiza Rocks live gigs, it was largely responsible for reintroducing guitar based music to the island. The likes of Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Babyshambles, and Kaiser Chiefs have all performed on stage under the Ibiza Rocks banner. The list of DJs to grace the bar also reads like a who’s who of dance music; Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Calvin Harris, Doorly and Eddie Halliwell have all made regular appearances.

Ibiza Rocks approached Prolyte Group back in March. They had seen and heard about the LiteConsole and knew it was the ideal solution to replace their existing DJ set up. Following consultation with Prolyte Group’s LiteConsole account manager, Nick McGeachin, a standard double LiteConsole was specified, customised to incorporate the Ibiza Rocks branding using their eye-catching fluorescent yellow and pink colours, combined with the recognizable white lettering emerging from a black plectrum that comprises their logo. The main LiteConsole unit itself was powder coated black, providing a striking contrast to the bright colours of the branding on the main front panels and the two end panels, and the top panels were laser cut to emulate the lightning bolt with arrowhead element of the brand identity, backlit for maximum impact.

According to Dawn Hindle, Ibiza Rocks founder and CEO: "When my team heard about the LiteConsole they immediately realized that this would be perfect for the bar. We needed a DJ platform that could be branded to fit our corporate image and, since it will be in use every night for four months, it had to be durable. We love our LiteConsole!"

Nick McGeachin added: "The Ibiza Rocks Bar project provided an opportunity to prove just what can be achieved with a standard LiteConsole system, plus some creative thinking. One of their conditions was that it needed to be light enough to be moved around within the bar for different events, and it achieved this to striking effect."
