CDJ or DVJ Owner? Win with Pioneer
Pioneer have recently launched an exclusive competition giving all CDJ and DVJ owners the chance to win one of four DJ prizes. The first place winner will receive one of Pioneer’s excellent DJM-700 mixers, while three runners up will bag themselves a pair of HDJ-2000 headphones.
Entry to the competition is simple, all CDJ or DVJ owners have to do is complete a short online questionnaire on the Pioneer website. The four winners will be selected at random from all completed entries and will then be required to provide the product serial number(s) of their CDJ/DVJs in order to collect their prize.
Pioneer’s DJM-700 mixer is a professional 4-channel DJ mixer that is the perfect companion for a pair of CDJs. Key features include 32-bit DSP (Digital Signal Processing), 13 beat effects, 49 assignable cutting edge digital effects, roll sampler, MIDI connectivity and a filter on pre-out allowing filtering of effects.
Launched in October last year at the BPM show, the HDJ-2000 headphones are Pioneer’s top-of-the-range offering for professional DJs. The unique cans ensure superb clarity with clear separation and maximum comfort thanks to their 50 mm driver units and high-flux magnets, which create outstanding resolution, from bass to treble. The HDJ-2000s have the capacity for 3,500 mW of input, which means distortion is prevented, even at sustained loud volumes and the heavy-duty build ensures zero resonance. Sporting a rugged but lightweight magnesium swivel/fold mechanism the headphones are robust, comfortable and compact to transport. Each ear-cup gives excellent insulation and swivels a full 90 degrees using a new i-hinge with auto-return, which presents great flexibility, especially for DJs who prefer the ‘on-shoulder’ method of monitoring.
