2015 NADJ AGM & Conference Set for Sunderland
The National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) will host its national AGM & Conference for 2015 in Sunderland. Based on visitor feedback from previous years, the NADJ will be providing a range of seminars, giving DJs the chance to network with their peers and also to view audio/lighting demos from manufacturers.

In order to make the AGM & Conference available to all of its members, the NADJ moves the event each year to a different city around the country close to where an association branch is active. Last year the AGM took place in London; this year will see the event move to the North East, taking place at Sunderland’s Royalty Theatre on Sunday the 26th of April from 10:30am to 5:30pm. The NADJ hopes that the Conference will better equip its members (and potential members) with the tools and resources they require to build their businesses and develop as mobile DJs.

Andy Pickles – a mobile, commercial club and radio DJ with a rich history as part of international DJ duo Tidy Boys and the chart-topping Jive Bunny & the Mastermixers – has been announced as the first seminar speaker.

Andy took to the decks as a club with the Tidy Boys in 1999 after founding and developing Tidy Trax into a leading independent clubbing brand. However, his seminar – titled ‘If You Can Have Three Number One Hits with a Rabbit from Rotherham, Anything Is Possible!’ – will cover his earlier experiences, taking delegates on a journey through his Jive Bunny days. Many Pro Mobile readers will be familiar with Jive Bunny & the Mastermixers - who sold over ten million records between 1989 and 2002 – thanks to the articles that appeared in the January/February and March/April editions of the magazine.

The seminar will also cover the importance of personal branding and how to progress within the mobile DJ marketplace, with Andy drawing on his experience as CEO and founder of U-Explore, a company that works with talented people and technology to bring careers education ‘screaming into the 21st century’.

Pro Mobile Magazine will also be present, with its Book Store giving attendees the chance to buy industry-relevant publications that can help them take their learning further and develop their businesses.

A revamped website dedicated to the NADJ AGM & Conference 2015 is up and running now. Full details of the rest of the seminar schedule will be released soon via the website and through social media.
