ADJ’s Fog Fury Jett Takes Off
Adding to its Fog Fury range, ADJ has released the Fog Fury Jett: a DMX-compatible fog machine with the capacity for LED-lit vertical blasts. This latest addition to the range will allow mobile DJs to send blasts of coloured fog shooting into the air, providing something special for their audiences.

Many DJs will be used to horizontal fog machines, but thanks to ADJ’s use of advanced heater technology the Fog Fury Jett can operate vertically, sending dry blasts over seven metres into the air, acting as an eye-catching feature for audiences that also emphasises the user’s lightshow. Adding to the flexibility of the product, the Fog Fury Jett can be mounted above the dance-floor, so users can shoot the fog straight down into the crowd. The 700W machine is also equipped with twelve 3W quad-colour LEDs, allowing the jets of fog to be lit with colour for unique results.

“With the Fog Fury Jett, we’re not just giving users a powerful, forward-thinking vertical fog solution, but also the reliability of the latest technology and the convenience of handy features, such as the low-fluid indicator,” explains Alfred Gonzales, National Sales Manager for ADJ USA. “Whether an entertainer on the move, the owner of a bar or club looking to add some flair to the dance-floor, or a wedding DJ that wants to bring something special to the party, the Fog Fury Jett will help our customers take their shows to the next level and create endless amounts of pure lighting excitement for their audiences.”

Inside the machine, ADJ has employed quality components and technologies to ensure power, versatility and reliability. For instance, the heating element design uses an oil-type transmission that reduces the possibility of clogging to a minimum, for a more consistent user experience. Mobile DJs will also be pleased to know that the Fog Fury Jett utilises a high-performance Italian pump system and ETS (Electronic Thermo Sensing) technology, allowing the machine to maintain optimum heat levels, as well as offer an output of 20,000 cubic-feet per minute and a warm-up time of nine minutes. For DJs who require a fog solution that can be set up and put into action quickly, the Fog Fury Jett is particularly well-suited, while its output supplies enough coverage to fill venues with dense fog.

Efficiency and flexibility are also offered, thanks to the Fog Fury Jett’s design, which allows for the use of water-based fog fluid and allows the three-litre tank to be mounted both on the top and bottom of the machine, depending on whether the user wants upward or downward facing blasts. A low-fluid indicator, meanwhile, lets users know when the tank is running dry, so mobile DJs can avoid being caught short.

The Fog Fury Jett offers three operational modes – Manual, Remote Control, and DMX-Controlled – and comes with an ADJ FFJWR wireless remote included. In DMX-Controlled mode, users can choose between five DMX channel options: 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. All control options can be selected using a 4-button control panel situated on the unit itself.

In spite of its capacity for large output fog effects, mobile DJs can still incorporate the Fog Fury Jett into their mobile lightshows; the machine is lightweight (7.2kg) and therefore easy to carry, transport and mount. It’s also small enough to store and transport, with its compact dimensions (39 x 30 x 19cm) allowing it to be packed into a DJ’s vehicle even when space is an issue.

The Fog Fury Jett is available now.
