Chauvet Honoured With NAMM Milestone Award
The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has honoured lighting manufacturer Chauvet for its “25 years of service in the music product industry and community,” awarding the company the NAMM Milestone Award.
The award recognises retailers and manufacturers who have succeeded over the years, rewarding them, upon reaching a landmark anniversary, for their model business practice and strong community standing.
“Chauvet is honored to receive this recognition,” said Berenice Chauvet, the company’s Vice President. “The support we’ve received from the music and sound dealers who belong to NAMM has been essential to our success over the past 25 years. We value our association with these dealers and the personal relationships that we’ve been privileged to enjoy with many of them.”
Originally a supplier of lighting solutions for mobile DJs, Chauvet was founded in 1990 by Albert and Berenice Chauvet. The company has since grown into a global leader that manufactures various lines of LED lighting and video-wall solutions designed for a range of applications – such as its CHAUVET DJ line, which offers LED lighting, controllers and other DJ-specific products.
Chauvet has also earned widespread acclaim within the lighting industry, having brought many new concepts to market, including the type of affordable LED colour mixing fixtures often favoured by mobile DJs.
“NAMM is proud to recognise Chauvet for their 25 years of service to their community, staff and to the music and entertainment lighting products industry,” said Joe Lamond, NAMM president and CEO. “Their hard work and willingness to adapt, as well as their commitment to making this world a more musical place, have helped them stand the test of time and will be the driver of their future success.”
The Milestone Award was presented to CHAUVET at the 2015 NAMM Show in Anaheim, LA last month.
