ADJ Adds Inno Pocket Wash to Portable Pocket Series
ADJ has expanded its Inno Pocket range of compact lighting fixtures with its latest release, the Inno Pocket Wash; giving mobile DJs a portable-but-powerful LED wash unit that can be utilised for smooth up-lighting as well as moving colour effects.
Containing four 10-watt quad-colour LEDs, the unit’s LED source is mounted on a moving head yoke that enables 540-degree pan and 180-degree tilt movement (8 and 16-bit); allowing users increased flexibility and greater scope for creative freedom. With a wide 28-degree beam angle, ADJ has ensured that mobile DJs can create far-reaching washes of quad-coloured lighting with which to flood dance-floors and immerse crowds, whilst the dual-effect fixture can also work wonders as an up-lighting solution for venue walls, stages and décor. These up-lighting effects can then be enhanced with colour-change settings offered by the unit’s 12 built-in shows.
This capacity for both wash and up-lighting effects makes the Inno Pocket Wash ideal for use at events such as weddings, where it can provide up-lighting at the start of an evening reception and then turn inwards to flood the dance-floor with intense moving wash effects when the party gets going. When using multiple fixtures in a Master/Slave configuration, DJs can utilise the unit’s Display Inversion mode, which generates synchronised effects that create an enticing dance-floor atmosphere for guests without the need for complex programming.
In terms of operation, users have a choice of three operational modes – Internal Show, Sound Active and DMX-Controlled, the latter of which offers four channel options (9, 11, 19 and 21) to allow for extensive control and more creative possibilities. For basic control over strobing, colour change, dimming and Sound Active on/off, users can also control the Inno Pocket Wash using the optional IR wireless remote. This option is ideal for mobile DJs looking to control their wash effects from afar, without the hassle of wires and complex DMX-programming.
Like ADJ’s other Pocket Series fixtures, the Inno Pocket Wash is compact and lightweight, weighing 7.2kg. Portable and easy to store away, mobile DJs can easily transport multiple Inno Pocket Wash units from gig to gig, enabling them to take a more extensive lighting setup with them out on the road.
