Paul Weller UK Tour to Visit Overlooked Locations Next Spring
The ‘Modfather’ Paul Weller will embark on a 14-date UK tour of ‘often missed’ towns and cities next spring, prior to the release of his as-yet-untitled 12th album – the follow up to 2012’s Sonik Kicks – expected in March/April 2015.

Earlier this year, Weller released More Modern Classics – a ‘best of’ collection covering the period 1999-2014 – and contributed a song to Olly Murs’ latest number one album. He also announced his intentions to record music with Boy George and Johnny Marr in the not-so-distant future.

Since his departure from The Jam in 1982, Weller has enjoyed a prolific career; covering jazz and soul with The Style Council, and multiple genres as a solo artist. According to the musician, his next album, will take more of an ‘old school R&B [rhythm and blues]’ direction.

The 2015 tour will start in Plymouth on Thursday the 5th of March and go on to cover Swindon, Portsmouth, Watford, Warwick, Stoke-On-Trent, Cambridge, Southend, Blackburn, Scunthorpe, Halifax and Carlisle, before finishing up in Edinburgh on Sunday the 22nd of March.
