Adam Hall Adds 11 New Lasers to Cameo Range
Adam Hall has announced the release of 11 new lasers, spread across three series, as part of its popular Cameo range. The Ioda, Luke and Wookie series were unveiled by the company at the Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt, Germany last month (April), offering mobile DJs a varying range of laser solutions with professional features.

With powerful 1000mW laser sources and low divergence ratings of up to 1.3mrad, the new Ioda, Luke and Wookie lasers generate bright, concise beams for defined projections. The lasers are also fitted with fast-moving galvo scanners or stepper motors, allowing for fluid movement and precise positioning. Further professional features can be found in the Ioda and Wookie series: the Ioda models can generate up to 16 million colours, thanks to their analogue modulation, enabling mobile DJs to tailor the laser effects to their events, while the five models found in the Wookie series produce vivid animations.

In terms of control, users can have access to ILDA and DMX control options, as well as master/slave and standalone modes. Offering further versatility, the new models also include built-in microphones with adjustable sensitivity (for use in sound-to-light mode) and pre-programmed graphic patterns. An IR remote control is also included, enabling mobile DJs to control the lasers from behind the booth or whilst onstage.

Each of the new lasers is housed inside a dust-proof capsule, keeping cleaning and maintenance requirements to a minimum. This high-quality aluminium housing is also fitted with a solid mounting bracket and a key switch to prevent unauthorised use. The models found in the Luke and Ioda series also include a safe-locking Neutrik powerCON mains plugs, for added security, and a 'Scan Fail Safety' system for audience protection. All three series fulfil the laser safety standard EN60825-1 2007.

The Cameo Ioda, Wookie and Luke series will be available in the UK from August 2015.
